Earlier this month, I wrote a post about my current status (“Single”) and my thoughts about marriage. My friend Max shared it with his sister, Anne, who wrote me a lovely comment and made me want to adopt her as my new, second sister.
Well, I was checking out Anne’s blog and noticed she had posted her results from the online Perception Personality Image Test. It’s a fun little quiz where you look at pictures and check the boxes next to the elements of the picture that you are most or least drawn to. Well, we all know I love looking at pictures so…
My results came back HFPS, or The Humanitarian, marked by Humanity, Foreground, Big Picture and Shape.
You perceive the world with particular attention to humanity. You focus on what’s in front of you (the foreground) and how that fits into the larger picture. You are also particularly drawn towards the shapes around you. Because of the value you place on humanity, you tend to seek out other people and get energized by being around others. You like to deal directly with whatever comes your way without dealing with speculating possibilities or outcomes you can’t control. You are in tune with all that is around you and understand your life as part of a larger whole. You prefer a structured environment within which to live and you like things to be predictable.
Well hot damn. Max’s fiance Jenn has to take this quiz now, because if she is as alike to my personality type as Anne and I are similar (Anne is The Guide), then it’s going to explain why Max and I have remained such good friends over the years… He is related to, is friends with, and is marrying almost the same type of lady! 😉 [Good taste, Max, good taste!]
The other perception personality types are:
So… Which type are you?!
