I’ve been kinda gloomy the last couple of days. I’ve been feeling like a grump, which lets me know that I need to slow down and recharge my batteries before my forehead furrows become a permanent feature upon my brow. I’m suffering from that sort-of stressed-out-no-time-don’t-know-where-to-begin flailing feeling coupled with the oh-my-god-it’s-going-to-be-warm-today-and-my-toes-are-ugly type of despair. Charming.
So, rather than bore you with a woe-es-me tale or manage to write an entire post complaining about something, I figured I’d share with you a recent present that made me smile:
Last Friday, Sarah S-E brought me a cupcake with a gum-paste daffodil that she had handcrafted all by her lonesome self while waiting for FedEx to deliver Macswell to her abode. (Sarah – YOU might choose to call him Maxwell or Max, but I shall forever think of him as Macswell. *giggle*)
