Today is your birthday,
you remember, I think!
I called to sing you a song,
Tomorrow we’ll have a drink.
I know lately you haven’t
gotten very much sleep,
so I’m hoping that tonight
the kids don’t make a peep!
I’ll see you tomorrow at ten,
hug you and put you in the car,
a few hours away from home,
but I won’t take you too far.
My celebration plan is simple,
you won’t need a disguise.
But I’m not telling you a thing,
So much better, a surprise!
So we’ll leave the husband at home,
with the kids and the pup.
It’s your BIRTHDAY my dear,
I’m so glad you’ve finally caught up!
I love you, Sarah!
Happy 30th Birthday!

Yay for being 30!!!
Thank you for helping me celebrate this momentous occasion and for spoiling me rotten!! What did I ever do to deserve such a wonderful, loving friend??? How is it you could love me as much as you do????
Thank you for helping me decompress yesterday– both physically AND emotionally. What a fantastic, and PERFECT, surprise you planned for me. You, my dear, are the rainbow in this often rainy world. THANK YOU.
Here’s to the saucy little devil tomato in heels that I have been dubbed when I comment on your post
