Today is a freakin’ gorgeous day… An open the windows and doors, bask in the sunshine, listen to the breeze move the windchimes day! It’s the kind of day you want to copy/paste to all of the rest of the days coming up this summer, because it’s also a low-humidity and no bugs kind of day. You could choose to do (or not do) anything on a day like today, but I’ll tell you that I’m pretty dang content to listen to the breeze rustle the leaves in the woods. It’s so peaceful here.
We had an easy, lazy morning, but I could tell Dakota was eager for something to do… so we went out on a long walk around the neighborhood. We met a construction worker’s spaniel, said hello to R & B and the kids on their way to soccer games, and I got solicited by a neighbor for dog-sitting services.
Once back home, both girls were a bit tuckered out. After a drink of cold water, they both laid down to enjoy the breeze wafting through the living room:
